Butterflies cannot see their wings so they can’t see how beautiful they are, but everyone else can. I guess that’s the essence of a brand – it’s about how other people see you. I know that it is difficult to grasp but your brand belongs to them.
Getting to a state of beauty that others can consistently relate to requires huge ambition, tenacity and commitment. And it has some risk. Much like a bulldog eating a bone.
Building a brand is never easy. It is intense but oh so pleasurable.
The analogy stops when the bone is devoured because a brand is never done. The bone never ends.
