Sometimes you must look beyond the obvious product or service features when pitching for a new account, especially when you’re selling a commodity item.
You might get into product detail later in the presentation pack.
But the first slide after the intro page should illicit planned emotions.
The ‘What They Hear’ should form part of your brand strategy and present in all your marketing collateral and digital assets such as website, meta, LinkedIn etc. creating a consistent messaging into the market.
In conclusion, shape your presentation towards what your prospects are carrying in their heads – don’t leave that until the last few slides, do it upfront.
